Getting Started
How do I create my first animation?
Download the app (it's free), skip through the quick onboarding, take a photo of your Christmas tree, choose naughty or nice, give it a few minutes to render, and watch it in the 'My Presents' tab.
Do I need to create an account?
Nope. The app works immediately — we create a secure anonymous account for you automatically. You can upgrade later if you want to save your account across devices.
How many animations can I create?
You start with free welcome credits. Each animation costs credits, and when you run out you can buy more in the Profile tab. Credits never expire.
Using the App
How long does it take?
Usually about 5–7 minutes. Because it renders in the cloud, you don't have to wait around — we'll send you a push notification the moment it's ready.
Can I close the app while waiting?
Yes! Your animation processes in the cloud. Close the app, make some cocoa, live your life. We'll notify you when it's done.
Where do my videos go?
They're saved in the 'My Presents' tab. You can also download them to your Photos library to keep forever.
Credits & Purchases
What are credits?
Credits are how you create animations. Each animation costs a certain number of credits — think of them like arcade tickets, but for Christmas chaos.
I made a purchase but didn't receive credits.
Go to the Profile tab and tap 'Restore Purchases'. If it's still not working, email us and we'll sort it out.
Can I get a refund?
For refunds, contact Apple directly via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Troubleshooting
My animation is stuck on 'Processing'.
Processing usually takes about 5–7 minutes, occasionally a little longer during busy periods. Check your internet, then pull down to refresh in 'My Presents'. If it's stuck for more than 15 minutes, email us.
The app won't let me take a photo.
Check permissions: Settings > Sleighed > Camera > ON. Then try restarting the app.
