1. Information we collect

Photos: uploaded to create animations. Deleted after 90 days.
Device info: model and iOS version, for debugging.
Purchase history: required for credit management.
Device token: for push notifications.

2. How we use your information

We use your data only to provide the service (generate animations), improve the service (fix bugs), provide customer support, and comply with legal requirements.

We do not track you across apps, show ads, or sell data to third parties.

3. Data sharing

We share data with trusted providers to operate the service:

Supabase: backend database and authentication
RevenueCat & Apple: in-app purchases on iOS
Stripe: payment processing for purchases made on the web. When you buy a video on our website, Stripe collects your payment details and email to process the charge; we receive your email to deliver the purchase and let you access it again later.
Vercel: hosting for the website (sleighed.me) and privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics
Apple: push notifications

AI animation providers

We use third-party AI services (Minimax and/or Grok) to generate video animations from your uploaded photos. Your photos are transmitted to these providers for processing. These services have their own privacy practices and data-retention policies, and we recommend reviewing them. We delete your photos from our servers after 90 days, or when you delete your account.

4. Cookies & web sessions

On the website (sleighed.me) we store a single functional cookie that keeps you signed in to your anonymous session, so your videos and credits stay with you across page refreshes. It is essential to the service and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing it (or your browser data) signs you out; if you have purchased, you can restore your account using the email from checkout. Our website analytics are cookieless.

5. Data retention

Photos and animations are retained for 90 days (or until you delete them). Account data is kept until you delete your account. Purchase records are kept for 7 years (a legal requirement).

6. Your privacy rights

You can delete your account and data directly in the iOS app at any time, or by emailing us from the address used at checkout. You can save your videos to your device from either the app or the website.
